aspens cover the landscape
Pando - the world’s largest living organism. Elevation and the tree’s aggressiveness have led to its wide distribution throughout Colorado. These tress can live to more than 150 years and have the ability to clone themselves.
seasons collide
When winter and autumn mix in Colorado there is nothing more majestic. To see bright white, snow capped mountains with aspens bursting with color.
natural beauty in its rawest form
Aspens are older than the Sequoias or biblical Bristlecone Pines, some dating back 80,000 years. Their massive underground root system makes them one of the most resilient trees.
Beneath the thin, white outer bark layer is a thin green photosynthetic layer that allows the tree to create sugars and grow when other deciduous trees would otherwise be dormant.
